World Maths Day
The children in Class 3 took part in the 2007 World Maths Day Challenge. They had to compete against other children from around the world. The challenge was to answer mental arithmetic problems as quickly as possible. The aim was to get 10,000,000 correct answers for the world record, this was soon achieved and the final total was 38,904,275 correct answers! Class 3 contributed 27,502 of these.
All the children had great fun and at the end of the challenge all had improved their scores.
