Youth Speaks
Once again we attended this annual event organised by Hatherleigh Rotary Club.
Team 1 - Shona Eustace, Megan Hansen and Millie Roberts took Recycling as their subject, they came 2nd out of 6 teams.
Team 2 - Edward Brain, Jack Weeks and Matthew Williams took Animal Cruelty as their theme and were also an excellent team. Congratulations to the children for their courage and poise in a challenging situation
World Book Day
Congratulations to all for the fantastic costumes, the children looked amazing!
PFA Jumble Sale
The PFA made a profit of £187 at the Jumble Sale, what a wonderful result! Many thanks to the parents who helped and supported this and for the donations received.
School Uniform
With Summer approaching the PFA have an excellent stock of long sleeved red polo shirts, short sleeved polo shirts in red and white, PE tee shirts and sweatshirts.
Sports Relief
We are holding our event next Tuesday 11th March from 9.15 a.m. – 10.15 a.m.. There will be a variety of activities for the children to join in.
This will be a non-uniform day, pay a £1 and wear something red (ideally not a school jumper!)

Easter Service
This will take place as an extended assembly in St Mary’s Church on Maundy Thursday – 20th March at 10.00 a.m. followed by coffee here at school, everyone welcome.
The PFA Easter Fayre is on Thursday 20th March at 3.30 p.m.
Pumpkin Day and the Big Draw at Rosemoor Sunday 26th October
There are 5 competitions – the heaviest pumpkin, the smallest pumpkin, the ugliest face pumpkin, the wackiest pumpkin and the best lantern carved from a pumpkin.
Rosemoor have provided us with some pumpkin seeds, so if you wish to participate, please collect your seed from Miss Davey – first come first served.
