The Tag Rugby Tournament last Friday was a great success. Our team was captained by Matthew Timon and included Edward Brain, Shona Eustace, Ella Hegarty, Izzy Higgs, Anna Penrose, Tyler Phipps and Hannah Higgs was reserve.
The team came second in their group of six teams in the morning session and therefore qualified for the Cup Competition in the afternoon. They clocked up a magnificent 16 tries in total. Congratulations to the team for their performance and a big thank you to Tim Penrose and Steve Close for all their hard work and coaching.
Sport Relief
We raised £42 and all the children enjoyed the games Mrs Gilbert and the School Council planned, it was just a shame it rained and all the activities had to take place in the classrooms.
Did you all see we made front page news in the Okehampton Times!
