Harvest Festival
This will take place at St Mary's Church at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday 26th September. We will be making a collection for Shelter Box instead of bringing gifts.

Julie Wilkins worked very hard for the PFA during the last few years. Please feel free to sign the Thank You card in the office.

Okehampton College
You may be interested in a presentation in The Octagon on Thursday 27th September by a well known local artist, Peter Randall - Page. To book a seat for this event please ring College 01837 650910 and ask to speak to Sharon Perkins. There is a charge of £2 per seat for this particular presentation but it will be free to anybody under the age of 18.
Workshop
Mary Daniel will be running an after school workshop on Friday 28th September
from 3.30 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.. The children will be creating a display to put up in St
Mary?s Church over the Patronal Festival weekend. Suggested donation of £1 per child to cover cost of materials and refreshments. Please complete the form if you wish your child to attend.
Red House Book Club
Instead of the usual monthly leaflet there is just going to be a termly one, so the
Autumn leaflet is attached. If you wish to place an order please return the form and money to Miss Davey by Friday 5th October.
Toys
Some children are bringing toys etc. to school, sometimes these get lost and the children get upset, so it is best to keep them at home.

Please note change of date - it will now take place on Thursday 18th October NOT Wednesday 31st October.
Fair Processing Notices
The Department for Education and Skills have revised the Fair Processing Notice, a new copy is attached for your information.
Okehampton College
Keith Webber would like to invite you to what should be a great evening on Friday 19th October in the Octagon, Okehampton College.
This is the Friday we break up for half term. The evening is suitable for the whole family, FREE, and will run as follows:
6:45pm Doors Open
7:00pm College Jazz Band (They are really good)
7:30pm Free Finger Buffet (provided by College catering classes)
8:00pm 'Pyromania' featuring Prof. Roy Lowry of the Royal Institute for Science (This is excellent and must be seen)
The evening should finish by 9:00pm. There will be a raffle to raise funds for a new College minibus. This really will be a highly entertaining show. To reserve tickets please contact kwebb@okehamptoncollege.devon.sch.uk stating how many tickets you would like. Tickets will be issued nearer the time.
Please tell your friends and family about this and get them to contact Keith Webber for tickets he really wants to fill The Octagon - 250 seats!
