Yellow Pages
These are being collected on 30th or 31st October, so if you have any more, please bring them into school before then.
Class 3
A reminder that on Tuesday 30th October most of the class are going to Barnstaple for Shakespeare4Kidz, we will leave school at 11 a.m. and return about 5.00 p.m..
Gardening
Miss Daniel will be running a gardening session after school on Friday 2nd November from 3.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. for anyone interested in helping to plant up the tubs for the winter. Please complete the slip if you are willing for your child to help.
Bag 2 School
Once again the PFA are going to use this company to take clothes, bedding including duvets, curtains, soft toys, shoes and handbags. We are paid 20p a kilo or £200 a tonne.
Our next collection at school is Thursday 15th November at 11.45 a.m.. Your child will bring home a bag tonight. If you require more bags please see Miss Davey. So please start collecting any unwanted things and then all we have to do is bring the bag into school on the 15th November and leave it outside the gate where it will be collected. Nestle Box Tops
Used postage stamps
Used printer cartridges and mobile phones
Football
There will be a practice this Saturday, but none on Saturday 27th October.
Okehampton College
A number of people have asked whether Okehampton College can run evening courses leading to formal qualifications such as GCSE, or Certification in Literacy/Numeracy. The answer is yes, if the demand exists.
In January they might well be able to offer evening classes leading to GCSE Maths, English, Literacy, Numeracy etc- please contact Keith Webber at the College if you are interested in this idea kwebb@okehamptoncollege.devon.sch.uk or phone 01837 650910.
We hope you all have a good half term, Monday 29th October, is a non pupil day,
so see you all on Tuesday 30th October.
