CHRISTMAS PLAY
Our play this year is ‘Bethlehem Bandits’ – yet another musical
take on the Christmas Story, & the usual mix of Christmas
message, & humour. For the first time in many years, this will be a whole school performance. Inevitably this means that to
accommodate the children, the parts will be quite small & in many cases one-liners, with just singing for the very youngest children.
All the children will of course be singing, & have been working
with Mrs. Savage. Costumes will be simple, & thanks to Mrs.
Bonner, we now have quite a few in school so please liaise with
your child’s teacher or Mrs. Bonner.
We have decided to put on 3 performances: Monday 17th December 6pm, Tuesday 18th December 2pm & Wednesday 19th December 6pm. To avoid overcrowding & considering safety issues, we are going to try a new system. The evening performances will be ticketed. There will be an initial allocation of 4 tickets per family, & a limit of 60 tickets per evening performance. We hope that you can plan for different family members to attend different performances, & suggest very young siblings come to the afternoon performance. After initial allocation, there may well be spare tickets should you require more. Tickets will be available from the office week beginning 3rd December, on a first come, first serve basis.
