CEOP Christmas Campaign
With Christmas fast approaching, many parents will be buying computers, laptops, mobiles or gaming consoles for their children. The "Child Exploitation and Online Protection" (CEOP) Centre are launching a campaign to raise parent's awareness to some of the risks and issues associated with the Internet and online environments to make their children's exploration of and use of the amazing opportunities presented by the Internet to be inherently safer.
The aim is to encourage parents to think about safeguarding any purchase and also to visit http://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/presents/ to obtain more information and subscribe to security bulletins.

Author Interview - C Meet local Eco-author/artist Rebecca Morch. Rebecca's first book 'Who Will Save Us' is a beautifully illustrated story of five little penguins who are getting very worried about their environment and how it is changing. The book includes lots of practical ideas on how children (and adults) can help combat the effects of climate change. Rebecca has kindly donated 3 signed copies of her book which are being offered as prizes. For the chance to win a book children need to answer to simple questions sharing their opinions on and ideas about how to stop climate change. See - http://www.devon.gov.uk/maxsendstuff-2.htm
